Pilates is a dynamic form of exercise that focuses on control from the core and postural muscles using breath and posture. Clinical Pilates is an adapted form of exercises that is safe and achievable for most of the population. Classes are taught by a physiotherapist and centred around rehabilitation from postural pain and spinal injuries. Pilates is suited to those with chronic pain, joint stiffness or injury and pregnant or post-partum women.
Pilates intro & One on One sessions
An assessment is designed to work out areas to improved and educate you with principles and techniques specific to clinical Pilates. These skills can be used at home and during classes to maximise your new sense of wellness, while remaining pain free. I’ll demonstrate exercises and check your using your pelvic floor and core correctly. You go home with printed exercise booklet.

Group Classes Myself and a colleague Marika take group classes, with a maximum of 10 people in a class. I encourage participants of the class to have an assessment before joining Pilates Classes. Classes combine breathwork, core and pelvic floor strength and postural exercises and flexibility. Bring your own mat and we provide additional equipment. We use small pieces of equipment including foam rollers, bands and balls bands to promote muscle relaxation and good form.
