Pilates is a dynamic form of exercise that focuses on control from the core and postural muscles using breath and posture. Clinical Pilates is an adapted form of exercises that is safe and achievable for most of the population. Classes are taught by a physiotherapist and centred around rehabilitation from postural pain and spinal injuries. Pilates is suited to those with chronic pain, joint stiffness or injury and pregnant or post-partum women.
Pilates intro & One on One sessions
An assessment is designed to work out areas to improved and educate you with principles and techniques specific to clinical Pilates. These skills can be used at home and during classes to maximise your new sense of wellness, while remaining pain free. I’ll demonstrate exercises and check your using your pelvic floor and core correctly. You go home with printed exercise booklet.
